Page Rank gives a score to each page within your website. The higher the score then the better the chance of the Search Engines listing the site for the keywords you desire. PageRank considers the number of pages and the number of incoming links to your site is a measure of your web sites importance. A fully search engine optimised web site will do everything it can to have a high Page Rank.
